    • Hi,

There will be a guided foray locally on Sunday the 19th of October. We meet at Meztisoy Market at 10 AM, and travel north to a set of woods for a three hour educational foray, and then a one hour lunch and mushroom identification.

We may then decide to travel to another set of woods, and take a shorter walk, with an informal identification session.

The fee of $65 per person covers a light lunch and snacks. This is a children friendly foray.

This foray is designed for beginning mushroom hunters and will cover common edible mushrooms, tree identification and best practices.

Please read regardless of your skill level.

On Friday October 24th we will meet in Brown County Indiana, to camp on private property near Nashville – the small scale organic animal farm is on 12 acres, very close to two Indiana State Parks.

We meet up on Friday for light snacks and tent set-up, and on Saturday we have a morning and afternoon foray scheduled, as well as sessions on live animal butchering, medicinal mushrooms and mushroom cultivation and herbal tincture making and enheogenic mushrooms. Sunday we head out again and spend about four hours in the woods.

Three gourmet meals for Saturday and Sunday morning snacks, as well as a Sunday Brunch feast are scheduled, as well as Saturday music and bonfire snacks. We’ll be breaking out some of our summer liqueurs, hard cider and other goodies to toast around the bonfire.

The meals are all natural with mainly organic meats, raised right on the farm, most ingredients are local, and organically raised, and chef prepared.

The fee for this intermediate/experienced foray is $275.00 per person and includes all camping fees, meals, and all workshop sessions. facilities are primitive, though a two room cabin is on site for emergencies. Local motel lodging is available.

The three foraging session are available individually for locals, and each session is $45.00.
